The Dark Angel, grandson of Raiden host of the demon KuraiKamiKage, K is the driving force behind the group. He's the leader of the group, if any character is. He's a master of the Martial Arts, and hand-to-hand combat is second-nature. His darkness and his light are central to the story.

Born in the United States, Trey moved to Japan when he was young. Shortly after they moved to Japan, his father was killed. Trey was adopted by the martial arts master known as "Sensei Mojo" to the outside world, or to Trey as simply "Sensei". Sensei Mojo taught Trey everything he knew, and the boy quickly mastered the Mojo style of marital arts, including his own energy-draining technique known as "The Black Hand". When he was old enough, Trey began fighting in underground tournaments, making money and a name for himself. Young Trey soon came to be known by his nickname, K.

One afternoon rainy afternoon, K was walking the streets when he ran into a ver wet and very lonely girl named Asami. K brought her to his make-shift home (aside from Sensei Mojo's Dojo). The girl was an orphan, who had no memory of her early childhood. She simply went to school and tried to get by the best she could. In the morning she was gone, but she left a note displaying her gratitude. This would lead him to friendship with the grill, as well as the robust Leon and the quick Jason, as well as the enmity of Kuro, the Black Angel.

Soon the small group of friends, along with a new member Jason, became immersed in a series of events against centered around the "Eyes of the Gods" , ancient artifacts of great power. Over the corse of the events, the small group often found themselves opposed to the same Black Angel. It soon became all too apparent Kuro had a special interest in Asami. As it turned out, Kuro was Asami's brother, from her forgotten past! Though he did not tell Asami, he let K know his secret, and did not want her to have anything to do with him.

Centuries ago his ancestor, an Eldarin Hunter, killed a powerful shadow-demon named Kuraikamikage. This demon cursed the Hunter's line so every offspring would be possessed by him when darkness ruled. A long time ago, the demon could emerge during the night. However, as time passed the strength of the demon waned until he came to possess Trey after the death of his father. With Trey, the demon only has the power to emerge when there is no moon in the sky, or during an eclipse. During this time, Trey's consciousness becomes dormant and he takes on the form of the Shadow-Devil.

K was the last of the group to discover his heritage as an Eldarin. His true form, it turned out, was an Angel like Asami, only a Storm-Angel, not a Light-Angel. The "Lord of Thunder and the God of Living Lightning" proved to be a formidable adversary. However, his form as the Storm-Angel was short lived.

After finding the Eyes, and calling forth the Celestial Eye, KKK was almost able to ascend. Instead, his essence merged with K, forming the Black Lightning Angel. When K was in America, after Asami had been kidnaped by Dr. Nero, he absorbed the White Devil, and became the UnHoly Angel, when he combined with KKK. Still, he aspired to go to fourth form, for KKK to return to his body, and his true power.

With the help of Jason and Leon, K got hold of the Celestial Eye, and after saving Arika had her start his transformation. However, he was interrupted by Shiiro, now possessed by Hela, and lost in-between the worlds. When Asami pulled him out, he was separated from KKK, who was now free.
