Ken meets the main characters quite on accident while traveling in America. He takes an immediate liking to Asami, as well as mistaking K for her brother. The meeting is only brief, and when the group goes to see Shiiro all connections are lost. However, Asami meets Ken again in Japan - he's Yume's cousin. Unfortunately for Ken, he mistakes Jason and K for the bad guys and in his second meeting with K ends up on the wrong end of Omega. After Asami resurrects him, he meets the gang again when Arika is being attacked. When they help him, he decides maybe they aren't so bad after all.
