Always one for a challenge, especially a mental one, Andrew was the mage sent to protect Prince Sammael when they fled Laconia. Quick witted and a little mischievous, Andrew works by his own set of rules, all the while allowing those around him to believe he is following theirs. He is noble and good-hearted, although he is willing to overlook a bit of larceny or practical joking here or there. He does not tolerate bullying, however. Always, he seems to have at least the ghost of a smile on his face, even when facing his fiercest enemies.

Born in the Mountains, Andrew was sent by King Cyrrus to Laconia after Prince Sammael was born. He was to serve and protect the Queen first and foremost, but was also to watch her son for any signs that he had inherited Erydine powers. Other than that, he was to live life as he saw fit, although no one was to know he was from the Mountains. Andrew chose to live as a mage, serving the kingdom by using rune magic and his own sorcerer’s abilities.

When the women arrived through the Mirror Gate a Lacoan Temple, Andrew knew something was amiss. While acting very friendly toward them, he was trying to assess if they were a threat or not. He was especially intrigued when he realized that one of the four was Mountain kin! He decided that it would be best to place the four in a more disadvantaged position before any questions could be asked. . .with the exception being him and Sora. He knew all the while that Sora of the Mountains was playing with him, but he didn’t care. He also secretly found it amusing - though annoying as it was - when the women decided to fight back (and Sora decided to escape).

After the situation was made clear to Andrew, he decided it would be best to team up with the girls, brining Sammael into the care of the Fanardians for protection. Andrew knew, however, even the Fanardians were going to need protection this time. With this as his argument, he brought them into the Mountains, under the protection of King Cyrrus. While there, Andrew discovered that his sister had a severe distaste for Sora, despite Andrew’s secret like for the girl. He fought alongside the Fanardians against the Aeccordians, helping to bring Aeccordia’s fall about.

Afterward, Andrew split his time between the mountains and traveling the lands as a wandering mage, with Sora as his traveling companion.
