The King of the Mountain Kingdom, King Cyrrus is one of the few remaining direct descendants of the Erydine. Although he only appears to be in his fourties, he is actually older than the oldest of the Mountain People can remember. He does not speak about his past, and whem he does, he never says anything about events prior to the founding of the kingdom 2000 years ago. He is not immortal; he has told his followers this much. However, the strength of his Erydine blood gives him powers and years much greater than those around him. Luckily for the world, he takes his power as a great responsibility, and his years have taught him to use it wisely.

King Cyrrus has no heir, but he is known to have had two daughters, and two nieces under his care since the founding of the Kingdom. His eldest daughter, Maia - whose mother was one of the remaining Erydine- was married young to a young Mountain Man, with her father’s approval. In the last hundred years, Cyrrus also took under his wing two other young women of the Blood: the twins whom he married to the Kings of Laconia and Fanardis: the mothers of Aden and Sammael.

Cyrrus’ other daughter no one has seen in a thousand years. Her name was Ellefewyn, and she fought in the great war beside Ishual and Izzan. After the final battle, she disappeared. It is said that she left in search of her mother, whom was said to have come from another world. . . .
