With the exception that he was once a thief, nothing more is known about Loki than is about Ceri. In fact, there may be less. When he came to Fanardis with Ceri at the age of 20, he also offered his services to the king. However, where she was a general, he used his skills as an ex-thief to become the head of espionage for the king. He, too, was involved in the assassination plan against King Wilhelm, and helped Fanardians to escape the Castle when it fell under attack.

After the Fall of Fanardis, Loki used his skills at stealth to keep the Fanardian refugees continually one step ahead of the Aeccordians. Sometimes he led missions, sometimes he set off on his own. Generally, he kept his distance from he rest of the populace, but still kept them safe via a knife in the dark.

It was Loki who led the girls on more than one ill-fated stealth mission. Not surprisingly, Loki was not trusted by the earthlings for some time. In fact, he was accused and even wounded by them before they came to trust him. During one stealth mission, the girls were captured, and while Rhys and Leonith went in to help and were captured, Loki returned to the refugees to gather aid. That mission would set things in motion which would change the history of Earth and Arcan alike. Later, it would be Loki who would be captured by the Aeccordians, and it would be the mission to rescue him which would set the final events in motion. . . .

After Aeccordia was defeated, Loki pledged his services to Queen Airi, continuing to serve as he always had - as an unseen protector.
