The son of the King of Laconia and Queen Lanaris, Sammael is of partial Erydine descent and is kin to King Cyrrus. He is a youth with high morals, an easy-going personality, and a great deal of curiosity. He inherited his looks from his mother, and may have inherited other traits from her as well. Although kind and gentile-hearted, Sammael has been trained in self defense by his mentor/protector Mamoru. He cares about the world outside the capital, but until it was attacked by Aeccorida, he never saw much more than palace walls. Naive, but intelligent he was certainly willing take a chance on the strange women, despite the thoughts of his companions.

During his adventures outside the palace, Sammael was taken into the heart of Aeccorida to spy on the army as well as through an attack on the palace of King Cyrrus. Sammael took these lessons to heart, and now rules the kingdom of Laconia with wisdom and grace. . .he also has aged less than others who fought during the war. Also a gift from his mother, perhaps?
