A genetically engineered being created by Hassai. Seperoth was Hassai’s first attempt to create a human Sorcerer. Combining data gathered on Ellis during her illness and observations of the Erydine, Hassai was able to create a being capable of using magic on Earth. Once Hassai was certain of this ability, he took Seperoth and trained him in the military arts, using him as his ultimate agent when things started to go awry. Hassai’s agents worked through Seperoth as did Sora. When things started to unravel with Dr. Cid, Hassai made sure Seperoth was sent to clean things up.
Unfortunately for Seperoth, things had become such that they could not be solved by a single being - even a supposedly perfect single being. Seperoth managed to kill Naiyami - who was apparently aiding the enemy, and disrupt the gate in Tokyo Park, sending the participants in many directions. However, he did not succeed in his main goal: the destruction of Dr. Cid and the Gate. Instead, he made do with the best he could, brining Cara and Shuuske to Hassai to be dealt with and turned his attention back to finding Cid and is assistant, Shion.
Using Cara and Shuuske, Seperoth did manage to capture Shion. He would have succeeded in getting the information he needed, too, if it wasn’t for the appearance of a girl wearing a pink dress. Seperoth soon realized this girl was a force to be reckoned with, with a magic power as strong, if not stronger than his own. With her help, Shion managed to escape, and Seperoth was left to nurse his hurt pride.
Strangely enough, Hassai was not at all displeased with the report of events. In fact, he was very happy: this girl would be the final element in making his plan complete. He sent Seperoth to gather an item of power he had heard about: the Devil’s Honor. At the shrine, Seperoth encountered Falz. The two fought, but Seperoth had the decided advantage of understanding the power flows of Earth. He managed to defeat Falz and would have killed him if not for the arrival of the people from Tokyo Park. In this second battle, Seperoth was not as lucky, and met the fate of any bred for war: death.
